My name is Sebastian; I am a 24 year old FTM (female-to-male) trans man. This means that I was born with two X chromosomes and assigned the gender and sex “female” when in reality my gender (and many elements of my sex) is male. I have begun the process of physically transitioning so some of the female-ish aspects of my body become male-ish.

I will be using xxboy for a number of things:

1. I will be documenting my physical, social, mental, and emotional transition
2. I will be discussing issues and theories about gender, transgenderism, feminism, et cetera.
3. I will be providing resources, news, and answers-to-questions for/about transgender people.
4. I will be educating people about what it means to be transgender and to live a trans life.

Of course, there are more things to me than my transition. I have a B.A. in Psychology, try to read a lot (mostly news and non-fiction), plan on eventually pursuing a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, DJ regularly, work two jobs in the field of psychology, and have a weakness for love and sap.
